PHOTO HUNT – SAD
This week’s photo hunt theme is sad. This picture represents sad to me because it is my beloved Abby, who passed away a week after this picture was taken, which will be 2 years this coming February. Abby was a very sweet Westie, and we miss her dearly. When she was 9 or 10, she developed pulmonary fibrosis, then in the last months of her life, lymphoma. When I look at this photo, although she just looks like a puppy to me, I can see that she just looks tired. She was a trooper until the end. Sad…losing a pet who is a member of your family.
Your Abby was a cutie. I lost my beloved cocker spaniel last March and know how much sadness loosing a pet brings to our lives.
Losing a pet that is part of the family is truly sad and hard on the family. I have a blogger friend who just recently lost a beloved dog and it took me two days to find a way to comment on her post.

(thanks so much for dropping by and commenting on the blog – we look forward to seeing you again soon)
Oh, she looks so sweet, and what lovely fur. You must miss her a lot.
Losing a pet is so sad. I’m certain you must miss her a lot. I lost my beloved kitty Mina last year about this time.
I’m certain she had a wonderful life with you and your family. She does look sad and you can sense something is wrong. I’m sure those were very difficult days for you. You must have so many warm memories of her presence in your life. These small little pets are so much more than pets. They are family members. A good choice for “sad”.
That is sad. We had to put our dog down a few months ago and thinking of him makes me sad too.
Losing pets have to be one of the saddest things in life. I am very sorry for your loss. She looks so sweet in this photo. I am glad you were blessed with 10 wonderful years with her.
